We often hear and talk about toxic relationships with other people. But not so much about our toxic patterns with ourselves.
Thanks to a random shuffle on my phone today and Britany Spears, what came through is: Constant self-doubt and self-criticism are TOXIC! Toxic ways that we talk to ourselves.
They can even be an addictive behavior.
A couple years ago while I was in the throes of a very powerful self-healing session that started with excruciating pain in my abdomen, I heard the message:
“No more negative self-talk! That’s enough!”
Well, it’s unrealistic that I’m NEVER going to have this come up. My toxic thoughts came up HARD this morning. But I’ll never forget that directive and how I healed myself from that pain.
When this Britany song came on, I jumped around so hard and my wildness set me free. My loving, joyful voice came back online.
