When I was in 6th grade, two girls came up to me in the stairwell and spoke to me in their “secret language.” They giggled as I stood there, feeling painfully excluded and alone. I’ll never forget that experience of girl torture. I’ve revisited it repeatedly for my own healing, and for inspiration to create a different dynamic in womens’ circles and relationships.
One time something so powerful happened in my Sisterhood Circle Program that gave me full body chills…
One of the women in the program brought back gifts from her trip. As she was about to hand them out, another woman shared that a few days before, she was longing for a certain type of cooking salt that’s hard to find.
And then… as the gift giver took her gifts out from her bag, there it was. The very salt the other woman had been longing for, because part of her trip had been a visit to a Salt Mine.
