The thing about perfectionism is that when you’re never good enough, you’re never truly happy. It’s heartbreaking how perfectionism is robbing so many talented, successful women of their creativity, inspiration, and ability to follow through on their dreams.
An effective way to heal perfectionism is knowing how to use every experience as a wise teacher and vehicle for transformation. When you don’t live up to your ideal, instead of berating yourself or numbing out, you open to the lesson.
One of my favorite questions to ask is:
What if there was nothing wrong here?
What am I being called to learn? How am I being called to grow?
When you get curious and experience what’s happening without judgment, you reclaim your power.
I love helping successful women break through perfectionism so the critic in their head no longer rules their life.
